"Beautiful property with an amazing courtyard / garden. Perfect for relaxing and dining. Area around the hotel is beautiful with so many nice, achievable walks.
The staff / owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. "
"Central location, right in centre of town, with lots to see and do. Great pool area - nice for relaxing. Adding tea / coffee making facility to the room would be welcomed. "
"Stopped overnight on our way down to our own place in the Charente. Plenty of parking around the chateau. Very pleasant staff and a lovely friendly German Shepperd dog to welcome you. Room was very clean, spacious and a most comfy bed and pillows. We had a lovely dinner in the evening but wanted to get on the road early in the morning so passed on the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Lastly, nice decking area to sit out on in the evenings."
"Such a unique place. Super nice staff. Just a wonderful experience. There is no elevator, so pack light, but the stairway is worth the climb. You’ll know what I mean once you’ve seen it. ;-)
Highly recommended!"
"Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress.
The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "
"Loved our stay at le relais. The receptionist was immediately very kind and helpful. We had a safe place for our bikes, the room was beautiful with a lovely view of the village below, and the breakfast was a real treat! Everything felt very close in the village, and we ended up eating at a restaurant opposite, perfect to roll into bed afterwards. "
