"On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

"La struttura è tipicamente antica come tutto nella zona ma molto caratteristica e con i camini accesi tutto ha un fascino maggiore. Il personale è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze mie e di mia figlia. Ci siamo innamorate del posto e ci torneremo molto volentieri. L’unica cosa negativa è che il mercoledì e il giovedì la cucina era chiusa. A noi avrebbe fatto piacere restare a cenare nella struttura. Lunedì e martedì abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti."

"Room vert clean and fresh. All staff very helpful and nice. The food was excellent we really enjoyed dinner here. Includes Parking, WiFi and breakfast. The quality of the breakfast was great. The pub area was also very nice and welcoming."

"The little cottage is a lovely place to stay and within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and shopping. The host had excellent communication and would respond immediately. The property was clean everything was in great condition. It's small, so would be perfect for 1-2 people."

"The only reason I am not rating excellent is the laundry machine is wash only. Worked out for me as I had time to air dry. The location is fantastic if you use the train. Easy in and out. Great stay."
