"The room is bare bones but clean. The only bug I saw was a cricket who most certainly was attracted to the light I left on and followed me in. The room does smell of smoke. It was coming from the bathroom vent which seems to be joined with a number of rooms so be aware that it will smell. Close to public transit which was quick and cheap and saved me a lot in uber/lyft. "The desk manager was great. He called when we hadn’t checked in by 10:00 to confirm we were still coming and provided food recommendations. The room was clean, beds comfortable. Stayed here on parents weekend and while rates were high for this property, they did not jack up the rates nearly as much as many others. An older family owned place, good choice for an economy motel only 3 miles from campus. "
