I was skeptical, but impressed after staying here! It’s a motel with limited bells and whistles, but our beds were comfortable, clean room, good AC, standard shower fine pressure. No hot breakfast but coffee and cold bar was filing—yogurts, bagels, cereal fruit. I’d stay again as the price and location near IU was right on a popular weekend.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the courtyard and the room was updated and very nice. The breakfast was bare-bones (bagels and cereal) but definitely got the job done before our long drive after visiting our kids at IU. We didn’t get to the bar, but they had live music there one another of our trips to Bloomington. It’s not within walking distance to Kirkwood, but close enough for a short drive. We would stay again. Note the price fluctuates wildly depending on the weekend. We stayed for less than $120 on the weekend we were there, and the price on the weekend we planned to return was, and I’m not kidding, 10 times that much!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Shower had very good water pressure. Almost too much. Only down fall for me was the king size mattress and pillows where like trying to h to sleep on a concrete slab. I got very little sleep do to how firm and uncomfortable the mattress and pillow’s where. Ended up sleeping I. The desk chair.

Clean, basic room in a great location on the north end of Bloomington. Very quiet and peaceful setting with a groomed path to beautiful Cascades Park. If you're expecting a brand new, flashy exterior, you'll be disappointed, but for great value and a chill atmosphere, you can't go wrong here.

Don’t turn around when you see the outside of the property as you pull in your car to check in. It’s an old inn. The outside does need some TLC but the rooms are lovely. Super clean. Bed super comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette with the courtyard view. Very nice. The kitchenette had everything we needed. And the courtyard is so nice. So cool you can hope in a short trail from the back of the property and explore the Cascade park. Breakfast was nice. If I’m in town again I would stay at this inn again

The room was good except that the bathroom door couldn’t fully close. The mattress was a bit more firm than I’m used to but I slept well. Breakfast was limited but we found something to eat. I hope someone finds time to trim the plants back because they were a bit overgrown between the parking spots and the rooms.

Very old and dated motel. The bath tub and bathroom ceiling all peeling. They don't make up the room unless you request. Old and noisy a/c. Very simple breakfast. Too expensive for what it offers
