Sweet Southern Smoke BBQ is really good and the owners are friendly, Decker's Creek Nature Tail and Park is a cool oasis right behind the Kroger.

We were actually car shopping and the customer service at the Freedom Kia dealership there was phenomenal. We dined at the Mario's Fish Bowl eatery and lived the atmosphere there. Overall we enjoyed our trip to Morgantown. Will definitely be back

Good
Lots of small bars and restaurants with small business shops and such along with the corporate stores as well. Also lots of dead areas with empty buildings as well.

There are many options available for dining, shopping, and there are quite a few areas nearby for recreational activities. Morgantown has it all!

I grew up in Morgantown and went to WVU. Morgantown is a great college town and there's lots to do. Check out Tropics if you are staying at Lakeview, good food and fun place to go.

I was disappointed they did not have a great cheese shop or fresh fishmonger. Also, it did not seem to have a bagel shop on the weekends (only Einstein's, and it was closed). We did find a good cheese selection at one of the two Kroger stores we vis.
