"holes kicked in walls. outlet covers missing. dirty bedding. missing light bulbs."

"We needed a late checkout, and the attendant at the desk was able to accommodate as quickly. Thank you."

"The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. The lobby was very clean. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and it was very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast and coffee were very good with lots of options."

"Gorgeous property and old town; especially during this fall season. Brumley restaurant is connected to hotel and gorgeous. Good food too. Bed comfortable but loud air conditioning unit and street noise. Ask for room away from street. Enjoyed our stay."

"Horrible Stay – Poor Cleanliness and Room Maintenance We booked a room at Best Western for September 24–25, 2026, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. "Very peaceful and relaxing property. I love the view from the loft. You can watch the sun rise straight from your bed. There is a very neat mediation point just steps from the cabin. Great for prayer and a quiet moment with God. The view of the river is gorgeous too and can be seen from loft and back porch area which has two rocking chairs and an area to make a fire."

"The breakfast area was small but the food was ok ... no fruit or yogurt. The ceiling was peeling above the couch, the tub faucet was dripping and there seemed to be something black or mold-like in the sink."

"Staff wasn’t very Friendly plus they put us way out back otherwise it was fine"

"This is our go to spot for staying in Tazwell. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean and the staff is always kind and polite."

"We have stayed his multiple times and when I am in Morristown I automatically check if this hotel has openings for the dates I will travel. Very welcoming, accommodating, and always with a smile. Housekeeping exhibits professionalism and a true desire to make sure the guests have what they need. They are not intrusive at all. Great breakfast as usual. Love those little blueberry lemon scones. I look forward to those every visit. Great job everyone!"
