"We booked this place for the convenience of the location near the airport. Check in is supposed to be at 4pm. We had to contact the property directly multiple times to get the access code to the property and this was not given to us until after 5pm. "We used the breakfast bar and the restaurant the first day. Both were convenient to have, but easy to replace once we explored our nearby options. The Metro was close and we used the shuttle. However leave yourself plenty of time as the shuttle can get backed up during busy hours. We would definitely use the Melia again."

"The staff and hotel were very nice. However, only few vehicles are allowed to stop in front of the hotel, you have to walk around the corner to get in to the hotel. Normally this is not a problem, but I broke my ankle during my visit and walking from the car to the door after hospital visit was excruciating. If you can’t walk far make sure your transportation is allowed to drop off at the door. "

Is very conveniently located, in front of a big mall and less than 1 km from a famous square of pick up of guided tour.

"We stayed for 9 nights.
The first impression was as we expected of a 5 star luxury hotel. The conseirge/luggage carrying guy was fantastic - a really nice welcoming. Couldn't remember his name - it was the same first name as the general manager I think he'd said.
The room was very comfortable, clean and really spacious with a massive bed. We had a view of the pool and the gardens. I like the old part of the building with all its character and private chapel. The new part is kind of bolted on...
