"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"Room was clean however I was given a room with a broken stove and microwave. I booked from Friday to Monday and had my family. It was a huge inconvenience as I booked this hotel for the kitchen they had to avoid spending so much on outside food during my trip. We weren’t able to be accommodated and moved to another room until Sunday afternoon. They did refund me for the first two nights so I was appreciative for that. Just wish I had a room that worked throughout my entire stay. Otherwise...

"The staff to serve breakfast on Sunday morning did not show up, so there was no breakfast served that morning and no coffee either. On my last nite staying, it was Sunday nite and the elevator was making some kind of really lous clanging noise when it moved and could be heard all nite long and very annoying to myself and im sure guest as well"

"We are repeat customers! It's clean, quite and safe. However the lid on the ice bucket was missing and the mini refrigerator was missing a leg some how! It rocked and almost fell over on my husband foot. They did come quickly and added something underneath it to balance it. The young man also did find a lid for the ice bucket."

"Stay away from this property if you are traveling to Portsmouth. The property is filled with long-term residents with a cast of characters from skid row. Some folks were smoking pot under the staircase going to the second floor. Between 3:30-4:00 AM, concert volume rap filled with expletives was blasted through out the compound. Consequent irritability caused by Lack of sleep from the loud music must have been the reason the residents started arguing almost continuously outside our door from...

"OMG the picture is sooo photo shopped ! The bathroom ceiling was falling in and brow stained! I I wouldn't have gotten in soo late because of weather delay! The bed was clean. No bugs we saw! The area is madness people up all night drinking and cussing! I would have left but I was leaving today ad yesterday I was gone until 9pm because I was going to Survivor the show auditions! My husband slept in his clothes ! We definitely was on Survivor! The pictures lie!"

"The sheets had not been changed but the bed was made up. Sheets were full of hair and sand. Horrible place. Never another Econo Lodge! "

"Hotel smelled, room wasnt cleaned competely before i got arrived. There was a hair in my shower, walls had dirt and grim. Hard time sleeping it was loud, people were in and out of the hotel, people yelling the halls, dog barking in the next room until 2am, cars in the parking lot hanging out blaring music, it didn't get quiet until about 2:30am. "

"This place was disgusting. I do not recommend at all. Everything was dirty, pillows had black mold, when I mentioned to the guy that worked there about how it’s not what’s shown in pics he said there pictures are false adviti. Pool is green, extremely dirty. I’m more then positive people actually live there."

"They upgraded me from a king to 2 queens...not sure that was an upgrade. There was no fridge or microwave and the tv did not work."

"Room was nasty. Door lock didn’t work. We had to prop a chair under I the handle. Peep hole was painted over. Window was filthy. Pictures on Expedia were NOT accurate. Worst place I have ever stayed. Still have not gotten my deposit back. "

"Deben de verificar bien los cuartos antes de entregarlos. Nos tocó un cuarto super sucio, cámara debajo de la cama y más cosas desagradables. Además de la peste a cigarrillo de marihuanas. Ahora respondieron excelente todo el personal y nos cambiaron y fueron super atentos con nosotros. Pero esa peste era fuerte todos los días. Todo todo el personal de excelencia. Gracias 🙂"
