Nice room with a view!
Nice location and cool building. Room with a view of the sea and the mountains. Very clearing and perfectly ok to share Nathan!.Ambitious restaurant. Great breakfast! East to park.

Really easy check in, newly renovated cabin, very comfortable bed, quiet with lovely views and surrounds. My only suggestion for improvement would be for more comfortable chairs on the outdoor deck - the existing picnic bench is not consistent with the comfort and standard of the cabin.

Very nice, but frustrating
Lovely, comfortable, and extremely clean accommodations. The staff is friendly; however, we were not informed that our unit did not have working internet prior to, or during, check in. This would have allowed us to stay somewhere else. Due to limited data left on the cell plan we purchased, this was an issue.

Väldigt nöjd! Stort, rymligt, fräscht och med magisk utsikt över vattnet. Allt man kan tänkas behöva finns i stugan, kyl, frysfack, spis, redskap m.m. Rekommenderas varmt.

Convenient location and historical house
Convenient distance to the main bus stop in Å of Lofoten. Good restaurant. A historical fisherman house. Smell of paint probably due to newly painted.

The Lofoten Islands are magical. I had always wanted to stay at this location in Moskenes for months and never had the chance. I arrived at 7:50 p.m. Their communication stated the front desk/reception would be open until 10 p.m. When i arrived not only was no one at the front desk/reception but no where on the property. I hunted for anyone and had to even ask for assistance from other guests. It was freezing cold with my parents having to wait in the rental car. An hour later, I found some construction workers who were helping renovate the hotel who knew the manager and called him/her. The saddest part of this entire saga was there was no apology or acknowledgment that they failed one of their customers. There are plenty of other properties in Moskenes that i would recommend before ever staying here again.

Fin rorbu, fint sted og 10 minutter å kjøre til Moskenes og fergen til Bodø. Synd at restaurangen var stengt, men forstår at det ikke lønner seg å holde åpent når det er få gjester. Savnet noen teposer og kanskje et glass med pulverkaffe i rorbua. Og en eske med fyrstikker.

»Slitne» rorbuer til drøy overpris!
Stedet Å er idyllisk. Det betyr ikke at vertskap kan lene seg helt tilbake. Rorbuene her er skikkelig «slitne» og trenger en real oppgradering - dette var ikke verdt 5.000 for 3 netter - helt forkastelig! Vi var ventet, men ankom til en iskald, bitteliten hytte - hva med å skru på panteloven i forkant? Det er dessuten ikke gjort noe for å gjøre det koselig innendørs - kun 1 Liten stålampe virket. Vi anbefaler ingen å bestille her! Det ble et trist opphold

Uteplass med et par stoler manglet
Vi hadde det fint og koste oss på Å. Gode senger. Tips: Det skulle vært en liten frys i kjøleskapet. Rorbua vår var vel eneste rorbua som ikke hadde en terrasse/uteplass... med et par stoler å sitte på. Tenk så lite det skal til, 4-5 enkle utestoler på plattingen ved inngangen - så kunne vi kost oss i solen. Men det var kun totalt 1 stol i hele bua, så vi bar ut en benk slik at vi kunne nyte litt ute😊

Vi fikk ikke rommet vi hadde booket første natten og måtte sove på Hostell, mildt sagt en stor skuffelse og rett og slett bare skikkelig dårlig. Maten i restauranten var ikke bra, vi ble anbefalt fiskesuppe og lovet at fisken var fersk. Det var den helt klart ikke. Når vi først fikk rommet vi hadde booket var det med to enkeltsenger til tross for at jeg hadde ringt og spurt på forhånd angående rommene og hvordan de var, da fikk jeg beskjed at det var en leilighet med dobbeltseng. Utover det var leiligheten ren, og beliggenheten fin. Småting som blir store når man er trøtt, sliten og på reisefot. Håper på bedre lykke neste gang.

Vi ankom kl 20.10 og da var alt stengt. Ikke mulig å kjøpe mat og drikke og heller ikke mulighet å bestille frokost til neste dag. Vi fikk ikke rorbu med sjøutsikt, slik forespeilet. Regner med at vi har betalt det samme for denne! Vi måtte selv finne rorbua. De var alle merket med 2 ulike nr og det var ikke lett å vite hvilke som gjaldt. Vår rorbu manglet nr og vi måtte bare prøve oss frem om nøkkel passet! Søndag stengte all servering kl 16. Dette er ett sted ganske avsidesliggende og det er langt til ett sted å kjøpe mat og drikke. Det var heller ikke nok parkering og vi måtte parkere på en annen eiendom. Vi var innom 2 andre steder, hvor det var fullfrokst og åpne restaurant til 23+. Dette oppholdet stod ikke til forventningene. Og det ble vist lite grad av service fra personal.

Great fishing cabin experience in Lofoten
Located in a very small and quiet town. Cabin was cosy and clean, comes with a small kitchen to prepare meals. Views were excellent. However, parking at the premises was iffy if you are allocated the furthest cabin with a very narrow driveway, especially with the snow during winter. We had to park quite some distance away to avoid encroaching or blocking other private properties.

Fomos bem recebidos na noite em que chegamos, o atendente até nos ajudou com dois mantimentos que faltavam - açúcar e azeite, para concluir nosso jantar no lodge. A noite, surpreendentemente uma porta de um dos quartos simplesmente caiu, soltou das dobradiças, e pela manhã, ao entregar a chave, a outra pessoa que nos recebeu não quis saber muito da porta, disse que a recepção estava fechada (10hs da manhã), disse que deixássemos a chave no keybox e depois iriam ver.... As vezes gentileza e forma de se conduzir uma conversa ajuda na avaliação. De modo geral os noruegueses não são muito amáveis. Em alguns lugares parece que devíamos agradecer deles existirem ....
