"Incredible views of the harbor. We enjoyed delicious meals at the lobster pound and the dining room. Fabulous views while eating. Joseph was a host several times during breakfast. His manor was very gruff, and he denied our request twice to sit on the porch for breakfast. Another hostess had no problem seating us on the porch. My husband and I both wish that the mattresses were firmer; there was not enough back support. Access to The Island Explorer buses was amazing. "
"The Acadia offered so many unexpected amenities (such as Build Your Own) trail mix, or afternoon charcuterie table, etc.). The outside areas were comfortable and relaxed. We made use of the Island Explorer (a free bus) for the short ride in to town, which stops right at the front door of the hotel and which couldn't have been easier to use."
"Room is good.... Wifi great and lots of ports for charging deliver, comfy bed, excellent lighting. Parking right at the door. Very quiet despite adjacent rooms being occupied and watching TV. On the negative side, there is a very strong odor of cleaning chemicals --and I'm a bit reluctant to keep the windows open to get fresh air on a chilly evening. We older folks would appreciate two steps, not onebsteep one, from the parking lot to the entry."
"Close to Bar Harbor but not downtown. Close to Acadia National Park entrance and many other activities. Breakfast choices and times were good. Clean & comfortable room. Plenty of space. Huge bathroom.

"Location was great for walking into Bar Harbor.
It is very difficult to find parking in Bar Harbor so being able to leave car at property was great.

"Everything was great - location, sleeping, towels, Chris & Syd, grab & go breakfast, cookies, candy & parking.
Unfortunately, the toilet seat was very loose, and the shower head seemed backward & stubborn to turn on.
In the end, we truly enjoyed the walking convenience to the "downtown" & "bar" path, restaurant recommendations, & closeness to Acadia.
We easily could go back again to our 1st floor room!

"I've stayed in hotels all over the world. This is the only property with a daily trail mix table (think dried cherries, pecans, Chex mix, chocolate bits) and a daily S'mores around the campfire time.
Add that to the view of the majestic deep blue Atlantic Ocean. Awesome!!"
"Breakfast was included with an omelette bar, fresh fruit, pastries, coffees and juices. Worth a good $ 50/day just in breakfast foods. Rooms were nice and clean with cleaning service everyday. Extremely convenient for walking to dinner, shopping, Acadia shuttle bus pickup/drop off, Bar Island land bridge walking path, and harbor area for cruise tours. Would stay here again without hesitation!1"
"Main Street Motel was perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor. Super walkable to the best parts of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for what to do. Parking was extremely easy with lots of options."
