"We stayed at Hotel Villa Jantò for five days in October. The views are breathtaking, the rooftop and outdoor pool areas are lovely, and there was a small, heated indoor pool. The free hotel shuttle to nearby towns and the beach is convenient, since the hotel sits atop a steep hill and taxis are surprisingly expensive. The room, however, was a letdown. It felt painfully plain, with white walls and nearly zero decoration—odd for a hotel that otherwise tries to look somewhat bohemian and stylish....

"I had a lovely time at Hotel Park Calitto. It is a family-run business, which lends the place a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is well-maintained, and the two pools are very nice. One is a warm thermal pool, and the other is perfect for warm days. The view of the mountains is also very pleasing. "We selected Samiramis as a bit of a splurge to recover from the marathon travel day from San Francisco. The staff were very helpful with arranging the airport transfer and early check in. The property was beautiful, with 4 thermal pools and wonderful views. We had thought we might have a day at Poseidon just down the road, but we enjoyed Samiramis so much, what was the point? Our flight landed very late due to delays, we were able to catch the last ferry to ischia and hotel info said last check in was at 21:00 but we got there around 23:30 and they let us check in still and Antonio saved us dinner and served us some dinner even when dinner was already done hours ago. Hotel was very clean. They made our bed and gave us new towels every day. Walking distance to forio and Poseidon park which made it great. Their breakfast was...
