"The location was great, and the room itself was perfect, but there are a few areas that need improvement. The courtyard was never cleaned during our stay. Wine glasses, empty wine bottles, and food wrappers were left scattered around the seating area, which made it feel neglected and less inviting. I also walked past the front desk multiple times without being acknowledged, which was disappointing and made the service feel impersonal. It’s such a bummer because I really wanted to love this...

"Room was clean. Staff was friendly. I wouldn’t call it “luxury”. The room phone wasn’t charged, so I had to go down to the front desk. One elevator button didn’t work. Ice had to be delivered to the room…plus tip… There was no microwave in the room. There was no room service. The room was nice, not thrilling. It was overall disappointing. The last hotel I stayed in was the Ritz Carlton in Portland, so the bar was pretty high. The staff at the Joseph was very friendly and accommodating."
