"Our room was not ready at 4 pm check-in. When it was, the door was very difficult to close and lock. The shower curtain rod was hanging down and about to fall off the walls. There was a large hole in the drywall above the bath mirror. The location was excellent and the receptionist was very nice ..."

"This property was renovated by new owners and reopened in June 2026. They did a fantastic job. Bright new rooms functionally well designed. Top of the line amenities. Great friendly and helpful staff. Clearly the best place to stay on Ocracoke."
