A very disappointing, disruptive and upsetting experience. We were called the morning of our stay and told our room was no longer available due to plumbing issues and they were full so had no room for us at all.
We have regularly stayed here either booking directly or via 3rd party. This year we booked it 2 weeks in advance and even called to confirm that we had a dog friendly room. The cancellation policy is such that 72 hours in advance you can no longer cancel and they can charge your credit card. Therefore this last minute notification that they did not have a room for us was a shock. As it was a Saturday night we asked for help finding a room, they found one availability but it was for double the price, and they were not willing to make up the difference. After several hours they informed us they found something in Burlington at a similar price but that isn't even on Whidbey Island so we declined and ended up having to change our plans completely. We will not be staying here again as feel we cannot trust that they will fulfill any reservation.
