The Good:
•The pool wasn't crowded, we had it to ourselves.
•The pool was relatively clean given the status of the room and common areas.
There was 'free' breakfast
The Not So Good:
•The staff weren't very friendly. They seemed inconvenienced when I called with a request/question. They didn't seem like they were too thrilled to be interacting with people.
• The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. There were receipts in drawers, gunk in the shower, and questionable stains on the chair. Pretty sure they don't really change the sheets either and just 'puff and fluff' them. Another interaction led me to think that
• The room had a funky smell when we walked in
• There arent any plug ins near the beds. Yes, 1st world problems, I know... had to charge my phone on the sink counter. But, I'm paying for an experience right? At least get alarm clocks with charging ports
• Kinda in a sketch area. I was nervous about leaving my car filled with our outdoor gear in the parking lot.
• Apparently you can't take the breakfast to your room. Weird. The lady uncomfortably told us that we couldn't take the food out. She was just doing her job She said "there are signs...its for the cameras" First, I dont want to sit in the tiny dining area with kids running around. I'd like to enjoy my banana in peace. Second, the signs need to be re-done, there are too many words, no one will read that
FINAL THOUGHT? Not the worst. Not the best. If its what you can afford, just know its subpar. But w a pool!
