"Good location and friendly staff, however I woke up and saw a huge cockroach and this was a Very big cockroach crawling across the wall, after smashing the giant cockroach i didn’t see another but I couldn’t close my eyes and slept uncomfortably over the few days of my trip."

I accidentally left my Leather Coach jacket in the closet of my room and called the hotel twice to report it. "Hotel location is horrible without a car! You can’t walk to metro because there are no sidewalks. To Uber to metro is $10…might as well spend $25 to go to DC. This hotel is a stand alone building, no restaurants, stores or shopping adjacent. The lobby construction was a mess resulting in early morning water shutoff. The fitness center needs a redo/upgrade. Requested minor room freshen up at front desk first morning, did not happen. These issues earned the two star rating. However, not all bad....

"Such a very quaint, boutique hotel. The room was spacious, clean. The bathroom was huge and contained a bathtub and a shower. The adjacent restaurant to the hotel had a delicious breakfast. I also loved the little touches to the room, like the books by the bed and the rubber ducky. I will definitely stay again when in Alexandria. Highly recommend!"
