"For an old Motel, I found it clean and comfortable. Position close to shops and public transport, it was very handy for my stay, as I traveled there by train. I stayed in winter and the air-conditioning kept the room very warm and the staff were very pleasant on my stay."

"Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel."
