"This is truly a hidden gem! I cannot say enough I much I enjoyed my stay! The room was a very nice size, clean, and safe. The hotel sits right on the beach, plenty of wandering space. Perfect sunsets and plenty of fire pits! 😊 AND the staff- 100% the most wonderful I have ever encountered. I just can’t get over how great my stay was. Will definitely be returning."

However, the property is older and could use quite a bit of maintenance and upkeep. While my room was clean for the most part, it felt run down. "The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was clean, but bathroom was dated and water pressure not great. Also some gouging along one wall was a little unsightly and in need of repair and the curtains although functional were stained in places. A very nice view of the Mackinaw Bridge and the beach area was nice for sitting and enjoying the view, but no access to actually swim. The pool, free breakfast, and general grounds were all nicely maintained."
