"Slow dinner service and we were refused a table for brunch without a reservation, even though we were staying at the hotel. "

"For a nightly rate of $515 it would have been nice to have housekeeping services for the two nights. We were out of our room for 12 plus hours so by the time we got back to realize no one even attempted to clean the room or bring fresh towels it was too late to complain. "

"Room was very clean. I will stay at an Avid hotel whenever possible. The staff was nice but couldn’t help with the WiFi. Breakfast was good."

"My first day at the Moxy I went down to tell the front desk that my toilet knob was broke and I couldn't flush with it. They said they would fix it right away. They never came to fix it and so I sent down again on Saturday. They promised they would fix it ASAP. They still never came to my room so for Friday-Sunday, I had to stick my hand in the toilet tank to flush. Not ideal at all."

"The room itself was decent, but the overall stay was very disappointing. The bathroom was outdated and it had visible mold on the grout. Most alarming were the cockroaches crawling on the furniture. There was constant noise right outside of our door - a dog was barking in the room next to us all night and people were coming and going at all hours. Also the power went out around 9:30 and was off for 2 hours. I would not stay here again. "

"The room was dirty. Mold in bathroom on ceiling. Exhaust fan broken in bathroom. Room was very humid after shower due to no exhaust fan. Found trash on shelf in closet. Window looked like had dried dead bug on it. "

"Apparently this was an Extended Stay America location before being acquired by Choice a month or so ago. Looks like very little was done to upgrade the property however. The walls were dirty, toilet fill ran on/off all night, damaged formica in the kitchen and bath. Not sure if there was anything in the kitchen drawer as it would not open. AC worked and the bed was okay. Vent-a-Hood hasn't been cleaned in years. Light and fan didn't work. The entry door was so quirky that the staff had to...

"Peaceful and tranquil. Like traveling back in time when hotels weren’t high rise buildings. The trails and views are amazing. Comfy beds, clean. We stayed in Sassafras. Only thing missing in the room was maybe a dresser to put some folded clothes in. "

"There was no shower nozzle,there was no tub plug to hold the water to take a bath due to no shower nozzle...cigarette burn in the bedspread...he said his computer had no record of an invisible person because my name was not printed in the email confirmation...he was not in office at 11:59 pm to chg rooms..the next morning I ask for a refund for I had to take a spit bath using the washcloths.and he refused the refund"
