"Although this is a lodge by title and is a bit spacious, the amenities are few which don’t align with the definition. A coffee pot in the room would be nice, an option for daily room service, and a TV would make the property stand out. Not everyone is interested in a back woods experience. The staff was courteous, parking was never a concern, and the grounds were free from trash and debris. The pool area is exceptional as well as the picnic area and a restaurant on the property in this remote area made the stay a lot more comfortable. The view at the resort is breathtaking with the surrounding mountains."
"The place is great considering the location. It was so windy when we came so it was expected to be dusty. There was some stains on the sofa which was fairly new with one of the cabins. Overall it was a great place to stay!"
"As a family of mostly females, the big hit for this property was the large shower and spacious bathroom. The rooms were clean. The AC and fans worked well, as did the microwave. There is a lack of breakfast options in Terlingua. We got microwave oatmeal cups at a local convenience store/gas station. The owner was responsive with the room access instructions - just plan ahead a bit because cell coverage in Big Bend NP is only reliable around the visitor centers. There are three parking spots for the three rooms so that was not a problem. We went to Long Draw Pizza west of Terlingua for dinner and it was very good. The best part of the Inn is the location so close to BBNP. The location very close to the NP access road made it noisy from the road noise. But there wasn’t much traffic and we turned on a sound machine. Because it is a Dark Skies area, drivers in the night need to use their high beams, and the headlights shine through the main bedroom window."
"Great Views and Very Close to Big Bend. No Bathrooms in the cabin it is shard space. My wife walked in on a man going to the bathroom #2 and he had the door wide open and did not bother to close it once my wife walked in. Partly my fault for not reading the reviews and seeing others post about how small it is. The Pictures are very misleading about the actual living space. We made it work though and overall it was ok but i could have stayed at big bend station for the same price and not have a shared bathroom and bigger space to sleep "
"Modern, clean, and elegant. Great views of the mountains in the distance makes for beautiful mornings and evenings. Wonderful common areas and amenities. Highly recommend."
"The place was very clean, and as listed had pretty complete kitchen which we enjoyed. Bedrooms are a bit tight but we managed. Experienced record heat but ac worked great! Good location for visit to Big Bend. We should’ve stayed 2 nights. "
