"We stayed in a luxury suite which was well worth the extra expense, though not a great deal for those from the Global North. Service was excellent in the restaurants and front desk with a centralised tipping system that avoided moments of awkwardness. Breakfasts were amazing with a mixture of Eastern and Western dishes, some cooked order if required. Both of the restaurants were good wit the Garden Terrace offering a wider choice for those wanting a break from Indian cuisine. The service in both was pleasant and attentive. The pool was a welcome facility, prettily and quiet. In fact the garden setting and sense of space made a welcome relief from the bustle, chaos and attraction of Delhi. Perhaps the only minor negative feature was that the hotel was quite a distance from many of the major must-see sites."

"Hotel within 5 minute walk of New Delhi rail station within Old Delhi. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff members are efficient and polite. The breakfast was good (Western options of cereal and egg - omelette, fried, scrambled available. Location can be noisy (it's a bustling area) I slept well"

"The Room which i occupied was excellent, with style & elagance... it looked like a golden room with ceiling lights and wall fixtures... Good Cozy room with good new AC and with good staff lead by Manager Manoj Kumar were very helpful. The morning breakfast too was really good. "had a really nice couple of nights at the Havelli. quite a unique place I think. It’s in the heart of old Delhi but all things considered remarkably peaceful. I wasn’t entirely sure when I read the reviews but I’m glad I went there. Some clarification for those who are uncertain 1. It’s on a little pedestrian lane that’s actually not too busy and very sweet. 2. Incredibly centrally located. A couple of minutes walk from the mosque. 3. Felt very safe. The usual warnings about pick pockets but I never felt in the slightest bit worried. 4. access is actually quite easy. Bike tuk tuks will take you pretty much to the door. and the road is only a minute or so walk away. 5. there is another property about 50 yards away which also sounds lovely but I didn’t stay there. 6. very fine restoration. I’m told it took five years and I can believe it. I don’t know that you’d want to stay there for a week. Just because old Delhi is a bit overwhelming. But for two or three nights it’s an experience not to be missed. A haven of peace in a cacophonous frenetic but fascinating part of the city. "
