"People should know that it is a remote registration hotel. There is no on-site front desk. But it works pretty well."

"Upon checking in I handed my ID to the front desk employee and then ran my credit card for incidentals. I was surprised I was then charged $1500 for the 5 days I reserved through Expedia and already paid for. I explained to the front desk employee I had already paid through Expedia but she was adamant I did not pay and made no other attempt to confirm that I had. "My wife is very critical anytime I book a stay. She normally likes to stay at the Myrtle Beach Oceanwatch by Marriott. After this trip she quickly said that we will be coming back and staying longer. The pool was amazing, not just the wife and kids, but for me as well. I normally don’t get in the community pools because of overcrowding, but they had several pool areas which made it much more accessible. The lazy river loop was a hit. "The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. This hotel is old and smell old. Our room said pool views and it was not plus it smelled awful. The front staff said they saw pool view on our reservation so they moved us down a floor still same view. Breakfast was described as on of the best in the area, it was actually the worse breakfast. The remote did not work for the tv, despite all of that, every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and helpful."

"No elevator would be nice to know. We came at 3:30p nope check in at 4p ,returned took 40 minutes to get the room cause everyone was lazy and going home."

"The house is very nice and welcoming and in a convenient place to everything. It’s also in a nice quiet neighborhood. There are no locks on the bathroom doors but it’s not an issue if everyone knows beforehand not to just barge in if the door is closed."

"No towels initially, no coffee maker or hairdryer. The mini fridge worked great though. Both pool areas were dirty, trash cans overflowing, and the jacuzzi had been filled in with cement. The tv video constantly froze, and the WiFi was nonexistent (3rd floor - it kept saying “get closer”). 2nd to last day a homeless guys was out back sleeping on the lounge chairs, and the last day he was sleeping by the roof pool. The balcony view was the best thing of the stay!"

"This hotel was disgusting, overpriced for the weekend of the 4th of July. False advertising on their listing photos. They make it look like it's the big blue hotel ocean front. It is the tiny hotel in the photo behind the two large building. It's no really ocean front. Had to demand a refund for the deplorable conditions of this hotel. I wouldn't even let my dog stay here. BEWARE!!!!!!!"
