"I wanted to stay one night in PP just to dine at KaLui. This may have been a poor choice. But it was survivable. They tried to stick me with a bill for the breakfast and I said the place is a bed and breakfast. It includes breakfast. Anyways, there isn’t much going on nearby anyway. The ladies were nice enough. Just don’t expect much other than 70’s kitsch. "

"A lovely stay at Balai Princesa. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, she recommended a wonderful seafood restaurant with exceptional sunset views (Badjao). She also sorted us with bike hire from Ezrah’s. Our room was clean, breakfast was good. The property was in a great location for exploring Puerto Princesa. "

"The room is clean. I was pleasantly surprised after a long trip from El Nido to be welcomed by a spacious clean white room. We had a big bed for my husband and I and, two single beds for my two daughters. For the price we paid, it was really good value. We had an early morning flight, so they offered to pack our breakfast. They have arranged for our tour and our van to the airport. The.staff is friendly and accommodating. "

The family who run the hotel are super friendly and willing to give advice, help book tours etc. The pool is a real selling point, clean and the water was a great temperature to swim. The rooms are basic, but clean. Bathroom is a typical wet room as standard over here. Breakfast each morning was great, choice of several options, and they catered early if we had early tours.
