Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji
10/10 Excellent
"The free wifi is a valuable bonus. Breakfast was excellent as was all meals. We stayed in an Ocean View which was nice and central and just a little quieter than the Lagoon area. The Reef area has its own pool and is a great adults only area."

Musket Cove Island Resort & Marina
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff and great location. Food was exceptional. Second visit and will be back again "

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Our fourth trip there so that tell's you how much we love it. The staff, primarily the local grown staff, are incredibly kind and engaging. The food is at the same level with a "Thank You Cake" on our last night, a Breakfast Chef who made special gluten free pancakes for my Daughter N Law, and the Head Chef delivering a Crab Macaroni & Cheese to "test" for their Summer menu. All facilities are immaculate. It truly lives up to the Resort name as we don't see a need to go elsewhere even when we had a rental car. Snorkeling is a 5 +; don't try elsewhere (unless an outer island) as honestly it's no better. Local masseuses next door, do it! Currency exchange with hotel but only up to 200FJD so if you need more, do it at airport. What has digressed since Reef Safari is gone is Kayak/Surfboard availability and times. Specific tides dictate this due to reef exposure but when I ( 45+ years surfing) pressed on launching from Sand Bar, they said no. Hopefully tide times coincide with their operating hours for you. Surf? Yes, there is surf out front but you need a westerly swell to hit the reef. If you want more of the local vibe, get a ride to Sigatoka down the road for the Farmers Market and shops. Intercontinental Fiji is extremely accommodating and earns every bit of a 5 star. They think of everything and deliver on it with a smile."

The Naviti Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent place to stay for families , staff friendly and attentive. Kids had plenty to eat and the choice was varied "

Bedarra Beach Inn
10/10 Excellent
"we really enjoyed our stay at bedarra and the surroundings"

Plantation Island Resort
8/10 Good
"Great location, snorkeling and activities.
Pits were eating times at restaurants (5:30pm) which is difficult for young children and the amount of walking required between facilities/amenities."

Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a beach front villa ( 2 adults and 2 kids). The villa was suprisingly big and spacious. Super friendly staff and everything well kept and clean. Great place to bring your book and wind down while the kids entertain themselves.
Also the best thing about this place is there is no TV in the room so bring your playing cards and have fun.
We really loved our stay at Hideaway"

OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort
8/10 Good
"This is our second trip to the Outrigger, and it was once again really lovely.
Most of the things I didn't like had to do with the excessive prices and fees that guests are charged.
Things I liked
*Facilities and rooms are well-maintained, modern and clean
*Spacious room overlooking the ocean, with all the amenities you need (fridge, hair dryer, nice-sized bathroom, safe)
*Afternoon snack & drink each day
*Lots of activities for adults and kids (particularly enjoyed free use of snorkels)
*4-5 restaurants to choose from (we liked the Sundowner Bar & Grill the most)
*Bebe Spa experience was nice (the view is amazing up there)
*Love that there is an Adults only pool and restaurant
*Free wi-fi
*Detailed information about amenities and services available through an app
*Ability to track room bill through your TV
*Channel ABC Australia was available (good for AFL fans)
Things I didn't like
*No options to purchase fruit or healthy snacks, which is a shame given that there are no shops near the resort.
*No Fijian food on the menus
*3% surcharge for payment with a credit card is insane when you're spending thousands on your room bill or accommodation payment
*10FJD fee and 900 FJD max withdrawal using ATM
*Hotel transfer cost is high, around 160 AUD (can get for 100 AUD elsewhere)
*7.50 FJD for a 1 litre bottle of water (they only give you 1 complimentary bottle per day)
*Although the views and the general experience at Bebe Spa were nice, the massage itself was pretty average"

Castaway Island Fiji
10/10 Excellent
"Staff are amazing, welcoming, and friendly! Food was ok, disappointed that 1808 was never open due ti inclement weather. Seafood night was the best night as they made delicious pad-Thai. The beds are comfortable, showers hot. Bars were great. The views and beach can’t be beat!"
