"Very lovely stay at the Maltese Sun. Breakfast on the terrace was great. The hotel looks better than the photos on the website. The bathrooms are nicely remodeled. Only thing is the common areas are hot and the drinking water is also hot."

"The room was very clean and the amenities cannot be beat! Full kitchenette and washer/dryer. 30 minute walk/hike to downtown Valletta. One note for people who like to sleep in. Church bells go off around 8am every morning. Beautiful and musical, but hard to sleep through "

"Small, boutique apart-hotel centrally located in a quiet and charismatic part of Sliema. Sliema’s main shopping areas and the waterfront promenade (for the water taxi to Valletta), Balutta Bay or St. Julian’s/Paceville are all easily reachable by foot within a 15-30 minutes. "A fabulous family run hotel with gorgeous views of xlendi. Wonderful pools and breakfast every morning and very easy to walk to town to purchase groceries or go to restaurants. Easy enough to hire a car or cab to get around Gozo but far enough away from the noise that you feel like you can actually relax. "

"Sonia and her team are fantastic. Everyone works really hard to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. Breakfast is awesome with hot and cold options as well as fresh fruit and local pastries. The rooms are immaculate with room service everyday this was our second stay and we shall definitely return soon. "

"Great stay. I had all the amenities I needed in the room. John at the desk was very helpful with info on what to do and see in Malta. The coded access for the front door and room is especially useful if you arrive late to check in."

"If you are looking for a place to stay that is not fancy and within a reasonable budget, stay here! The rooms were perfect for two people and while it is a quiet residential area, it is not a far drive to anything on Gozo. Absolutely acceptable!"

"Me and my family had an amazing stay at Pierre de soleil! The staff was always available for our requests, they really made us feel like at home!! Our room was very comfortable and clean, services were done every day almost like at a 4* hotel. We'll definitely be back!!"
