"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "

"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful stay. Our room had a balcony, which we really enjoyed for relaxing in the morning and evening. The location was great, with an easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The staff were especially lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. "Die Zimmer waren sauber und ausreichend groß. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, aber ohne Balkon. Ich würde ein Zimmer mit Balkon empfehlen. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze gegenüber dem Hotel und ein Parkplatz mit Schranke für €5 pro Tag den wir genutzt haben. Wie würden das Hotel für ein paar Nächte empfehlen, jedoch nicht unbedingt für einen Badeaufenthalt."
