"This is a great five star hotel in Aswan. Prices are salty but as everyone says: you get what you paid for!
Location was great, on Elephantine island. They provide free boat every 15 minutes.
Lobby is huge and very well decorated, a real charm.
Room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice view over the pool and the Nile! You can watch the sunset from your balcony. Bathroom was good size and shower had great pressure.
Breakfast was amazing, with some many options that you can spend hours trying to figured out what to eat! They have an egg station and also a crepe station. Several fresh fruit juices and a lot of pastries, cheese, etc.
We ate at both restaurants located inside the hotel. Food is pricey compared to Egypt standards but cheaper than Canada/US. Food was delicious and big portions. The have a free chocolate stand everyday, in the lobby.
Overall a great stay. I’d definitely come back and recommend this hotel. I wish I could spend more time enjoying the facilities like pool and garden."
"Great hotel, close to everything, modern, sparkling clean room, very strong water pressure in the shower. View to the Nile is nice, but there is construction work being done during the day outside, with varying amount of noise. Overall, a good place to stay in Aswan. "
"The hotel owner, Ahmed, is a very nice and helpful person. We ended up in Villa Misk after our reservation for a nile cruise from Aswan To Luxor was canceled the night before. So I made a last-minute reservation at Villa Misk and called them right after. Ahmed was very warm and helpful over the phone. After we got to the hotel, he greeted us and he helped us arrange a tour to Abu Simbel for the next time. Hotel itself is in an area outside the city. The initial room I had booked online did not have river view and had only a ceiling fan, we upgraded our stay to a room with river view and air conditioner for $20 additional fee per night and I think it was well worth it. The view was gorgueos. Thank you for all your help Ahmed!"
"Stayed here the night before starting a Nile Cruise. It's an unusual experience-the transfer from the airport eventually puts you in a tuk-tuk to get you there! And we had to take a boat to transfer to our cruise. It feels rustic, but in a good way. Staff very attentive, but not much english speaking. Rooms were simple but comfortable."
"All staff were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Clean room with complimentary fruit. Hotel was close to old town and overall an excellent stay"
