"Everything was great. Shower water pressure was incredible! Only issue was bath wash was empty. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. "

"We visited the first week in May 2026. The first room they gave us, on the ground floor, had a window with a broken lock. The room also had poor lighting. They moved us to another room on the ground floor. The window locked but the door wouldn’t latch or lock reliably. The third room was fine. One of the staff said they just “took back the hotel” and were getting to know it. It definitely needs maintenance. The hot tub was in a separate building. We didn’t use it. The breakfast was limited to tiny danishes and dry cereal."

"I loved my stay here! Not only was my room clean and comfy, but the staff is what really made this an A+ stay. Donnie and Jodie specifically were so awesome and fun to hang out with after my long days of adventuring! I also made friends with some of the other travelers so waking up in the morning for waffles and hanging around the fire before bed with everyone was so special. Location was great as well!"

"Wonderful, welcoming lodge owners. Very comfortable, and nicely decorated room. Great location for visiting Black Hills, Custer State Park, and all the best sights. The owners helped us with directions and restaurants. A bit of road noise, but the conversations made you forget it. They are improving the lodge & cabins every year."
