"We ended up leaving this property earlier than planned because we were really disappointed with our stay. We know our visit fell over Lunar New Year, which is obviously a very busy time, and we completely understand that this can make things more hectic. That said, from the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel welcomed. We had booked and paid in advance and arrived three hours after check-in time, so we expected our room to be ready. Instead, we were told that relatives were staying in the room we had booked. We were also informed that someone had previously tried to cancel our booking, which was worrying. There was no real greeting or welcome, and it immediately made us feel like we were an inconvenience. There was also a clear language barrier. We understand there may only be one English-speaking staff member, but at times other staff seemed dismissive and even walked away while we were trying to speak with them. We stayed polite and respectful throughout, but it didn’t feel like that effort was returned. Very little information was shared with us during our stay. We weren’t approached about the advertised trekking tour, and since we didn’t book one, we weren’t given any suggestions on what else we could do. One evening, we came out of our room to find staff and other guests all eating dinner together, which hadn’t been mentioned to us at all."
"AVOID! HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH!
If I could give this property 0 stars, then I would! Where to start… the staff member at the front desk was very unhelpful and rude. As soon as we arrived (2 hours early), after a long journey, tried to charge us almost double what we initially paid for an early check in. The hotel is dirty and an absolute litter of dirty shoes, thrown all across the floor was what we were met with as soon as we walked in.
The pool, that was still under construction, with cowboys dangling pieces of steel above our head was unusable! And not only that - was in a different building! Even if there was no construction work, the pool is still not a place for relaxation as there were only 2 plastic chairs to “sunbathe” and the pool was too small to swim in.
We left before even checking in, after being made to wait for about 3 hours in the hotel lobby with no help or assistance offered from hotel staff! "
"The best place and the best service!! We loved our stay here, special shoutout to My for hosting us and becoming our first Vietnam friend
The garden is so lovely to relax in, great detox place. Also the food is 10/10. We will hopefully be back one day with our friends and family. "
