"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. "Gregory and all the staff took a keen interest in us as people. From the minute we arrived they helped us and showed us around. Gregory’s father works there as well and he gave me some of his sun screen when we had none. They opened the veranda dining are early for plus to eat our take out food. Gregory showed us the art gallery on site and bragged about his local community. We felt like we got special attention the entire time we were here. AMAZING PEOPLE at Elea Mare! "

"The place was clean, with a friendly staff and the breakfast was the best we had on the peninsula. The complaint we have about the place is in the description of the location. This place is 40 min from Monemvasia and the name suggests different. There’s a nice pool, access to the beach and spa treatments are available. If you can transport this place at a different location, it’d be awesome."
