"There was plenty of birds and trails. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was unexpectedly great. The road getting up to the reserve is a little rocky/bumpy but thats literally the only concern everything else was amazing."

"Beautiful grounds, but no restaurant or real hospitality The grounds are well kept and the pool is beautiful with lush vegetation around it, about 1.2 hours from Quito. That's where the positives end. There is no functioning restaurant despite what's advertised — we were directed to a roadside eatery up the street with questionable sanitation. "Included" breakfast required scheduling an appointment and lady was not there a worker came out and told us to waited to brew coffee; we skipped it...

"Amazing!!!!"

"Prachtig gelegen accomodatie, midden in de natuur. Uitstekende plek voor vogelliefhebbers. Bijzonder vriendelijke mensen, maaltijden uitstekend. Every location including the hotel are locked up super securely. The staff were great. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, a cheese tortilla, fruit, coffee or tea and great juice. We were in the room right off of the reception and it...

"The hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of the central historical district. It is within walking distance to the Plaza Grande, the Presidential Palace, the Plaza San Francisco and the National Cathedral, etc. The property is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is very professional and friendly. Daily room service is provided if needed. Delicious breakfast is served in the morning between 8 and 10 am, and takeout breakfast is also provided for customers who have day tours...
