"Très bel hôtel dans un jardin splendide. Cet établissement de type colonial très bien entretenu est magnifique. Deux bâtiments le compose, équipés chacun d'une piscine. "The elephants were great but we were not told about check in being after 3.00pm and early arrival would have to pay an entrance fee! To add to the confusion the hotel emailed me cancelling my 4 rooms at 2.00pm. When I contacted them, no apology just that it was a mistake!"

"I can’t recommend this place enough to stay before or after a flight from Colombo airport. It’s only a 20 minute drive to the airport but you wouldn’t be able to tell as you really do feel like you’re in a peaceful oasis on this hotel site. The paddy fields surrounding it are beautiful as is the hotel itself. We did some fishing in the river at the back of the property with one of the staff and it was lovely, even if we weren’t good enough to actually catch anything. The staff were brilliant, incredibly attentive and arranging dinner and breakfast for exactly the times we requested. Dining overlooking the paddy fields was lovely, as was the food itself. Will be recommending this place to all my friends and family who are travelling to Sri Lanka as the BEST place to relax and start/end your trip on a high."

"Nice location near the airport for a quick stay. Airport pickup was provided with a midnight arrival. Awoke to lush gardens in a very quiet area of town. The staff was very help in arranging a tour. Nalaka setup tuktuks and boat tour. He also shared some tips on surroundings cities. Breakfast and dinner options were very good and promptly prepared. "
