"The suite is huge and we really enjoyed the fireplace. The courtyard/dining area is very beautiful, surrounded by azaleas. Breakfast and dinner were great.

The welcome was very friendly and we were given every assistance whenever we needed anything, even when buying a carpet ;-) What we didn't know beforehand was that this is a listed dar, which means that only limited structural alterations may be made. "We arrived late, after a long journey. Hotel had no notice of our booking….
This could have been a disaster but thanks to the amazing lady on reception, it wasn’t. With her limited English and our limited French, we explained the situation, she found us a room, arranged for a chef to come in and cook us dinner, found us towels, toiletries etc and generally looked after us really well.
