"Courtyard by Marriott Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Beach is an excellent place to stay if you are looking to be right in the middle of the action. Everything is in walking distance: shops, restaurants, popular beach and a taste of the island from local vendors. Watch the cruise ships come in and leave from the nearby cruise port. The city is transformed by tourists during the day bringing a vibrant energy to the area. A quiet, mellow, calming pace replaces the energy of the day as the cruise ships depart between 5pm - 6pm. This is a great time to walk or just sit alone on the beach and take in the natural beauty and serenity of staying right along the sea. Dining at Courtyard is affordable, offers meals late into the night and also has great local entertainment."

"Room was spacious. But iron didnt work so they replace this 3 times before I got a working one. The pool downstairs is like 3 metres deep and only for kids. This was a let down. Thank God the beach was nice so we swam in that instead. Infinity pool is warm but not very big and the only adult pool you can use. They only have 2 restaurants. Only 1 deck chair in the balcony which was odd. The shower took 5 mins to heat up. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and helpful each time there was an issue. Beach was gorgeous and not crowded."

"The property has a variety of things going on and has tremendous potential but for some reason there are some elements that fall short. Great pools, but a casual attitude about ball playing and others activities in the pool that take away from the relaxing atmosphere it could be. And I am referring to adults not kids. Had to look for waitstaff in the pool area to get any service and limited if any check ins. In short the frame work for an exceptional experience but missing some of the details."

"This was our second year at the British Colonial and we will return again next year. Wonderfully remodeled a few years ago and impeccably maintained. The pool and beach area are superb. Many lounge chairs and patio umbrellas dot the pool and beach areas. The hotel rooms have all the modern conveniences and a feeling of old world charm and style. All the staff are friendly, helpful and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. There are a couple staff members that I would like to point out. Charles and Petra cover the beach and pool area. They make every guest feel special. The front desk attendants are all excellent, but our favorite is Selvinique. Her outgoing personality is infectious and she makes sure all guests feel welcome and appreciated. Art & Pam McCray"

"The resort was gorgeous and very well maintained. Even the outside restrooms near the pools were extremely clean. The staff was amazing, always with a smile and kind words. The attention to detail around the resort, inside and out, was perfect. The food is very overpriced and underwhelming. That was my only complaint. I’d come back again."

Breezes Resort Bahamas All Inclusive

"The Breezes is dated hotel one of the older places in the Bahamas. You do not have a refrigerator in the room either. But makes up for it by being on the best beach in the Bahamas. Breezes is centrally located easy transportation to downtown or fish fry. People are genuinely friendly very good entertainment for the guests and great food. I would definitely stay there again mainly for the beach and the pool and great people we met."
