"On the photos the hotel with its swimming pool looked good to me but the pool was half empty and closed moreover I found my room not very clean especially the bathroom."
"Lovely spacious accommodation, very good value for money, and good location, but it is a care home for the elderly, so a weird unexpected environment."
"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained.
It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
"Great value for money in this no frills one night stay. We got in past midnight and left at 8am and we were able to coordinate key exchange. AC was great! Would definitely stay again!"
"We should all spend a night in a castle!
We really loved staying in this castle! Beautiful property, 10th century castle, nice big room, friendly staff, great service and elegant breakfast!"
"Hotel recently refurbished to a high standard and in central area, with underground parking, although limited and at extra cost, an added bonus. Near bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, an ideal location."
