If you are hoping for a charming Berkshire bed and breakfast with a cooked breakfast and interaction with your host, you will be disappointed. "A great place that we would use again. However our room had 2 issues. The internet wifi in our room would never connect (dead spot) despite the staff rebooting the router, so we never had wifi access. The tv remote wasn’t working properly, but I’m sure they will fix that. Otherwise, the staff was winderful, great breakfast, a bottle of wine as a gift, and very clean facility and grounds!"

"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

"GFI in bathroom was inoperative. Room had no Smoke detector. Bathroom exhaust seemed to be blocked. Bathroom door does not close. Main entry door hits the floor. Overall conditions seemed to be shabby."
