"I stayed here for a couple of nights with my two children while attending a local event. I booked through Hotels.com and got a great price, so I want to be fair—but also honest for others considering staying here.
The surrounding neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, especially with kids. While the Super 8 by Wyndham name gave some confidence, I’m not sure I would stay here again. It seems many guests are long-term, which made it feel less like a typical hotel stay. No one came to empty trash or refresh towels during our stay.
The room itself was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable, but there were several issues. The bathtub drain didn’t work, and the bathroom heat lamp was loose and felt unsafe. The floors were sticky, and the outside area was messy, with trash and items like old strollers near the entrance.
There was a cigarette smell in the hallways and sometimes in the bathroom. Staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, the advertised “continental breakfast” was very minimal (bars, oatmeal, coffee), and I never saw the indoor pool mentioned on the sign.
The biggest concern was someone trying to get into our room around 3 a.m., which felt unsafe. While the price was low, I’ve had much better stays at similar or cheaper hotels. I’d be cautious, especially with kids."
