"This place was gorgeous, location was perfect and the views were stunning"

"Our stay exceeded our expectations. We were worried about the lack of an elevator, but we managed just fine. The staff were friendly, and the place was very clean and well-maintained. The only thing that didn’t meet our expectations was that the laundry wasn’t self-service. The laundry room was locked, and the sign said that if we asked the staff to do our laundry, it would cost 15 euros."

"I can’t say enough about this property and staff. Having travelled to Italy and Europe a dozen or more times few properties have been so welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The property was ultra convenient to the main shopping and eating street in Taormina just a few steps away. The room was spacious and clean. "We had the beautiful patio room with an amazing view of Taormina and the sea. Room was spacious and clean. Close to shops and sights. A little short on basic amenities, like a simple box of tissues. And while somewhat charming, access to hotel is in the middle of a flight of an ancient stone staircase, which was challenging with luggage in the rain, No real reception, you get a code to the main door. "The check-in process was a bit ludicrous lacking front desk (reception) staff that had to be coordinated for every move, even to pick up and drop off our car. The shower in our room not only barely had water coming out but there was "limited" hot water to shower with during the winter months (December), that for a medium hair length woman, not enough hot water to wash the hair. Gabriella, the housekeeping lady was the one thing we enjoyed about our stay. "

"You stay there because of the view and central location. Huge price tab of a Ritz or Four Seasons without the customer service.... Staff is not terribly helpful at times. We asked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign for bedroom several times. Crickets. We asked to change a large Euro bill. Crickets. We asked for a late checkout for one of our several rooms. Nope. But the view is stunning!"

"It has great views and staffs very polite room clean as well. But no amenities and only give out one bottle water upon arrival just ridiculous for me . One bottle water they charge 4.5 euros!"

Breakfast was good Pool was as shown with spectacular views Not sure why but we were upgraded to a suite with outdoor patio and perfect views of bay and Mt Etna ..outstanding Adrianna checked us in and we loved her energy and she gave wonderful suggestions for restaurants which turned out to be the best food we ate in Taromina Would stay here every time and highly recommend"
