"The room door was damaged; the shower in the bathroom couldn't be used because the faucet was missing, and a pair of mechanic's pliers had been left in the bathroom. I couldn't take a shower—it was a disaster. I demand a refund; Expedia shouldn't offer this type of hotel."

"I can get nit picky but I'm not going to. For the money this was a very quiet stay in a clean room with excellent owners who are super friendly. My only critiques are please have an outlet near the side of the bed to charge my phone and to offer stream service to log into rather than cable TV. The lights outside our room were so bright that my room never got dark and it made it difficult to sleep. I would stay here again when passing through Norfolk."

"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"Just be mindful of mold build up in stand up showers on caulking and on grout. Maintain carpet as an area was peeling. Stain in couch cushion was gross but I just covered it with a towel. Clean it so it doesn’t have drip Residue."

"I stayed from 7/1-7/5/2026. I arrived early and was able to check-in early. The manager gave me a upgrade because the room I reserved was not available. The room was clean and house keeping brought me extra linens. The hotel was close to everything including Walmart and Target. The oceanfront is approximately 20 minutes away. Parking is 10.00 a night. Breakfast is plentiful in the morning from 6am-10am. All the staff is nice. Housekeeping comes every 3 days."
