"This resort seems to cater primarily to locals, which may appeal to some travelers, but it was not the experience we expected.
The biggest issue was the constant waiting. The single beach bar regularly had 15–20 minute lines, and the buffet was crowded with long waits for food. Cleanliness and supervision in the buffet area were also concerning, with guests and children frequently handling food with their hands.
The pool areas and beach were disappointing. The pools often appeared dirty, loud personal speakers were common, and there was very little shade available. The beach itself was not well maintained.
The specialty restaurants were also frustrating, operating at limited capacity with no reservations accepted. Guests had to line up 45 minutes or more before opening for a chance to get a table.
All entertainment was conducted in Spanish, making it difficult for our children (ages 5 and 8) to participate or enjoy the activities. Line-cutting was common throughout the resort, and staff rarely addressed it.
The one bright spot was our room, which was very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations."
