"The resort and beach were great. Our only complaint was about the air conditioning in our room. It would only cool to about 75 F but after requesting maintenance it would only get to about 74 F but would still get as hot as 80 F. Other rooms would cool to 65F. The resort and room were very clean, the beach has plenty of lounge chairs so you don’t have to fight anyone or get up too early, the beach also has a bunch of shade trees. Reservations at the restaurants were easy to get on the RIU app. I would go back."

Azul Beach Resort Negril, Gourmet All Inclusive by Karisma
4/10 Poor
"It was my first time to Jamaica and I was really looking forward to it from all the good things I had heard from other people. Unfortunately, the hype did not live up to the expectations. I was very disappointed with my stay at Azul. For the first time I experienced lack of food in an all-inclusive resort. Azul has very very limited number of restaurants: for breakfast you have ONLY one buffet which is very very small for the number of guests that the resort holds, and very few options of food which it never changed during my 7 night stay. For lunch you’ll find the same buffet open and a snack back, again with very few options of food choices. And for dinner again the same buffet and only two a la carte style restaurant which are the same cousins always (Italian and Caribbean). Never had I experienced such lack of food choices in an all-inclusive that at times I had to skip a meal because there wasn’t anything that I liked.
As for service I found it to be very mediocre, didn’t feel very welcoming. The staff was more focused to sell you extra services, such as massage therapy, rather than trying to service you for what you’ve already paid.
The resort itself is very outdated and it doesn’t look as good as the photos online. What’s online is very misleading, I would’ve not booked had the marketing been truthful.
Overall I was very disappointed, the only thing that saved my trip was the beach which was beautiful and amazing and the 1 star is only for the beach ONLY."
"This was my very first time in Jamaica and even though it was a very short trip, my stay at CocoLaPalm Seaside Resort was great. I wasn't there long enough (this time) to take full advantage of the amenities, but I WILL be back and will be staying here."
"First Stay at Travellers Negril
Had a really good first stay here. The place has a nice boutique vibe — modern, clean, and well-kept, which I loved. Location is spot on, close to the town centre and everything you need.
Staff were great, always around when you needed them but not overbearing. Rooms are non‑smoking, which is fine, though the smoking area could definitely be better.
Breakfast isn’t included, but here’s a tip: prepay it. I paid £57 for two people over three days, which worked out to about $12 USD each per day. Way cheaper than paying daily — the first day alone cost $37 USD for two.
Overall, Travellers Negril gave me a comfy, modern stay with friendly service and a super convenient location. Would happily come back"
