If you’re looking for serenity and a more private peaceful calm and relaxing vacation place to stay.. this is it. The beach is like your own private beach and keep very clean. There’s a restaurant on the property that makes excellent breakfast especially the vegetarian omelette and the local Jamaican food breakfast. Why look anywhere else where this is a one stop shop for a excellent vacation experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Firefly. Our room was very cozy and equipped with a kitchenette, including a freezer. The grounds are immaculate with lovely flowers. The workers are friendly. It felt like home. We had the grilled lobster and snapper escovitch for dinner on our last night at the on-site restaurant and the food was delicious. There are also tasty appetizers during their happy hour every day. We liked how the almond trees provided shade at the beach.

We had a cottage with beach view and it was lovely. The accommodations are a bit rustic but we enjoyed it. Centrally located on seven mile beach and beautiful grounds. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The overall stay was good except for the rooster that starting making noise veryyyyy early in the morning. Made it difficult to go back to sleep. The staff however was very polite and accommodating except for one person at the restaurant. Big up the Rasta man who cleaned the property and I the young man I think his name was Jervis! I will be back…

Although, I’ve been to Negril many times before, this was my first time staying at Firefly and I regret not staying there sooner. The grounds and well maintained, rooms are spacious and clean, staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend and look forward to staying there again!

Room was clean and the housekeeper came everyday for sheets and towels, staff was nice and professional, Firefly bar and restaurant had some of the best food on the beach. We stayed in 17 penthouse suite, little tight on space but had kitchenette and medium sized fridge. WiFi was really slow and unusable; but we don’t need to be on devices on a vacation like this anyways. AC went completely out on our second day, not to worry.. they replaced the entire mini split system on 3rd floor in a few hours while we were on the beach. I can’t tell you how much I was impressed with the service at this place. I Will be coming back to stay here in the future. Oh yeah and the beach front was beautiful with an over sized almond tree uniquely sprawled across half the beach area provided critical shade in the high UV environment.

I love the firefly!! The che k in was lovely and kind. We stayed in the cottage!! Cute and right on the beach!! The staff is amazing and the bar..the food was phenomenal and Nrs Sophie is my favorite. She spoiled us rotten.My new go to place to stay!!

Chill Vacation

I’ve been going to Firefly since the late 1980’s. Honeymooned there in the late 90s. It is perfectly located on the 7 mile beach of Negril. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and you’re never more than a moment away from the beach. The new expanded restaurant and bar is wonderful. If you want a chill vacation, alone, in a couple, with kids, it’s all you need.The staff are all first rate and truly friendly.
