Thank you for an amazing stay. The staff were great and honestly made our stay so pleasant. The hotel room was very spacious and Clean. The hotel is within walking distance to all the gems in Neuchatel so glad we stayed here and will most likely stay here again when I next visit.

The room was nice and spacious, clean and beds were comfortable, however with no air-conditioning available it was extremely warm and quite uncomfortable. If you left the windows open, there was no breeze and all you heard was the city noise which was loud and very difficult to sleep.

I had to pay in the day of check in, while i normally pay at check out. A receipt or ticket were not available in €. The room was spartan but the toilet was freshly renewed.

Very disappointed with Neuchâtel City Hote. It was a room and a bed. NO Air conditioning, No refrigerator, No Iron, No hair dryer, No Coffee, and No daily room service, and your room door is open to the main hallway. Very weird Hotel. I couldn't stay there. I asked for a refund but have been declined. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Not worth your money. My losst is your gain.

Hotel is situated close to the old town center, on the street going to train station, however well isolated from street noise; the room we rented was huge , the largest we rented in our vacation in Switzerland , with plenty of storage, two desks with chairs; bed was also big and comfortable; even the bathroom had plenty of storage ; room had also an extra space a closed balcony with a table and two chairs . From our room we could not see the lake Geneve but the receptionist recommended a lounge area with a terrace from where we took pictures of the lake ; that area has sofas , coffee tables and chairs to accommodate even a big group of people . Staff was friendly and gave us the possibility to log an to an application for free public transportation and a lot of promotions to different historical places , museums and attractions; we took advantage and went on a two hour cruise on the lake . Neuchatel is beautiful, full of charm and we regret not having booked more days at this hotel and this town

Schmutzige Maueren im Zimmer und im Badezimmer. Basic Möbel. Da es keine Klimaanlage gab, war der Straßenlärm nachts sehr laut und wir mussten bei offenem Fenster schlafen.

Accueil froid. Les chambres des années 50. Salle de bain rouillée, des araignées... Sans clim ni ventilateur. Du coup hyper chaud. Sous les fenêtres des moteurs de ventilations... Mais sûrement pour ailleurs... Bruits de fond, comme dans un avion 24/24. Parking sal et non sécurisé. Je cherche un point positif.... Je ne vois pas.

Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment délicieux, et cela m'a évité de devoir chercher un restaurant dans les environs, ce qui m'a beaucoup aidé. Comme l'hôtel se trouveait près de la gare, je n'ai pas eu besoin de prendre un taxi. En revanche, l'enregistrement n'était possible qu'à partir de 16 heures et il n'y avait pas de service en chambre. Pour changer les serviettes, il suffisait de le demander à la réception et on m'en donnait de nouvelles. Dans l'ensemble, je suis très satisfait.

This hotel is super practical when you come to the NIFFF. It is close to the cinemas and to restaurants. It is perfect to rest a few hours before going back to the festival. The only minor issue is that the bedding is getting a bit old, hence the beds are not super comfortable. Appart from that it is perfect.

Ungenügender Zimmerservice: Das Bett wurde nach der ersten Nacht nicht gemacht. Im Bad kein Duschgel und kein Shampoo, dafür 2 Stück Seife und 2 Fläschchen Body Lotion. Leider lassen sich die Zimmer auch nicht umbuchen oder stornieren. Bei Umbuchungsversuch von 2 auf 1 Nacht wird der Gesamtpreis teurer! Und bei einer Stornierung (auch zwei Wochen vorher) müssen 100% des Preises bezahlt werden. Nicht sehr kundenfreundlich.
