"I've stayed at lots of Hamptons and this is one of the best. Every time I came through the front door, someone was cleaning something. I got the sense that this one is family owned based on the staffing and the attentive customer service. It's a new hotel which is always nice, and you can see their thoughtful selections, like the outlet in the bathroom that includes a nite light. "Being on the golf course is perfect and the views are incredible , breakfast was nice too. My only complaint is that the blackout curtains do not close, so the flood lights from the front of the hotel shine through the sheer curtains all night. That’s a silly oversight."

"This property was completely rundown and outdated. No elevator and didn’t appear to be handicap accessible. I am surprised that state agencies would even let them function. The rooms were so filthy. It looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months. It was so nasty in fact I did not even stay there and packed up and drove all the way back home all through the night. If I wasn’t in such a hurry to get home, I would’ve probably asked for my money back, but I’m sure they would not have refunded."

"Pretty pathetic hotel. About the only good part was breakfast. Old outdated building they dressed up. Lipstick on a pig special. Had blood stains on a pillow case our daughter was playing on. "Very difficult to get to. Must drive thru shopping mall parking lot or a back alley. Parking was very limited. Had to park along grassy edge of lot because they ran out of parking in the very small lot."

"We only stayed 1 night. Grabbed a quick lunch at the restaurant and our meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. Looks like a nice place for families to stay. They had outdoor picnic areas, a pavilion with fireplace and a campfire area. We didn’t have time to walk around or use any of these amenities. "This was my 2nd visit to this property and this stay was just as nice, though shorter. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and the bathroom lighting was great. Our room was a few floors over the outdoor area, which people were enjoying, so it's nice that people can socialize other than in the lobby. "The problem here is that the place is so old and not kept up. The curtains were torn, entry doors were marked and scarred, the bathroom was dated and old. The sink was missing the stopper, there was a musty, dirty smell when you entered the lobby, and the pool looked like something out of a National Lampoon Vacation movie. There are only two motels in Ligonier so you have very little choice. I think you would be better served staying in Latrobe or selecting a bed and breakfast if you must stay...
