"This property punches far above its weight. Arriving, it almost seems like it wants to be hidden from view. I could have gone right by. Inside the staff is very warm and accommodating. The reception, hallways, breakfast room and my individual room were updated and clean. My room had very recent furniture including a super comfortable office chair - much appreciated. Television was good sized and very recent. I will stay there again next visit to Jacksonville. And it's very economical. Can't beat...

"Renovations meant loud noises during the day, plus the pool was not available. Halls and elevator had lots of debris from Reno's. Biggest complaint was consistent sightings of a single ant. Get rid of it and not long before one more would show up. No obvious signs of where they were coming from. Beds were comfortable and the water was always hot."

"Stay was not as thought it would be. The room was very very dirty. The bathroom door was so filthy it looked as if it came from a dumpster. Bedspreads had holes all over. Cable kept going out. Toilet didn’t want to flush. Website pictures were very deceiving. I thought I would be in the room on website but it was far from that. Definitely not the room we stayed in. Was in town for an event otherwise we would of found something else"

"The hotel is far too expensive for what you'll find. The whole hotel smells bad, the carpets are filthy, the bed smelled bad too, and the breakfast was awful—you can't even call it breakfast, just cold boiled eggs. If you're looking for a clean place, don't go to this hotel."

"I do a lot of traveling and I will never stay there again. The hotel smelled musty including my room. People were crawling in and out of first floor room window to some sort of outdoor grill chairs etc there was a confrontation in the lobby while checking in clerk threatened to call police. My room linens were clean but room was dusty with cobwebs in upper corners. I was so disappointed with breakfast and the musty smell I just packed up and left. I would never ever stay there again or recommend...
