Great stay!
Despite the cold night (2 degré Celsius!), we were quite confortable and had a fantastic time. Staff is very dedicated, the location is gorgeous. Strongly recommended.
This place is really gorgeous. I was really worried because on our stay, the temperature advisory was excessive heat. We were presently surprised to see that there was a very nice AC unit and fan in our luxury tent. They had a Yeti filled with ice and water waiting. Bathroom is so nice and clean with full toilet and rainfall showerhead and robes to wear. It was still very hot outside so we headed to a local watering hole for the day. When we returned at night, it was the perfect temperature. Slept like a baby on the luxury bed. Even the arm chairs in the room are so comfy.
This is by far our best experience staying outdoors. Very friendly staff and every single staff that works here is the best at his or her job.
Very quiet, away from noise and has nice views. Gated community, so felt a little safe too. Check-in was fast and very smooth. They communicate with you via text, all room services are provided via text message, the accommodation was as good as described and posted pictures. Yes, with a completely outdoor living, you get to share a little space with nature and its little flyers and crawlers. But, that shouldn’t bother much, if you understand that you are staying outdoors.
From the Manager to the staff, Everyone was very polite and accommodating. We are vegetarians, and the kitchen staff even made it comfortable by procuring and cooking vegetarian options for us. The front desk was always ready to take care of your needs. Chef deserves a mention!
They have an outdoor room for smaller parties, a fireplace, nature friendly play area. This place by itself does not have all the additional recreations you may be looking for, but has a small trail. Wimberley is like 15-20 minutes away, so if you are picky about food and other forms of entertainment, you have options there. Yes, there is good phone service here and they provide internet options but we didn’t really need it.
To summarize, we love country style life, and will definitely visit this place often. Worth the price. We needed a quiet and relaxing weekend, and got what we wanted.
Glamping was a wonderful adventure! The facilities were very nice and the views were outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful. Wimberley is a lovely town to shop, eat and visit.
Very beautiful place with very friendly and helpful staff. Dining options are pretty expensive so we drove into town instead. There were a few times when the concierge shuttle was either running behind or wasn't available to shuttle us to our room at the bottom of the hill. Wasn't a huge deal and we enjoyed the walk instead but it would have difficult to carry anything with us if we had needed to.
Loved the concept!!! The tents were beautiful and the staff were nice. Unfortunately, a variety of activities/amenities were not available during our stay. We were sent an email listing what was included in the resort fee-keepsake bandana, cooked to order breakfast, etc. We didn’t receive any of that, nor were we notified before our stay that it wouldn’t be available. We also weren’t told that we wouldn’t be getting the cheese with the branding or green juice with yoga. To be fair, we received a continental basket with pastries but that’s just not our thing. We planned our vacation around what was listed on the website and if they were not available to provide everything we should have been notified. One of the staff members even apologized for the lack of communication and amenities during our stay. They even started a promotion for the month of October due to the reduction of amenities. To make matters worse, customer service refused to respond to my emails and gave me the run around win regards to my phone calls. I had to call 3 times to finally come to a resolution. Again, beautiful grounds/tent, but I just really felt like they took advantage by charging me the same amount of money, and offering less than what’s listed on the website without notification.
What a wonderfully unique experience. We have never been clamping, and it was truly a unique experience. The location was nice and secluded, the staff was exceptional and the rooms were to die for. I almost forgot we were in a tent with all the luxuries that were provided to us. We had a restroom with a shower, they even provided shampoo & conditioner. Not to mention each tent had it's own fan and heater if needed. At night they provided s'mores by the campfire and free breakfast in the main tent. Would definitely visit again.
I had to say overall, I was disappointed with my stay. The tent was nice but close to other tents. Also, I was not given a choice of a tent with a view - I didn’t know this was a choice. Apparently, the only ones with a view are If I had known there was a view, I would have even paid a premium price for it. The other thing that really aggravated me was I asked for a king size bed. I got a tent with two twin beds shoved together. This was really upsetting because this was supposed to be a romantic trip, and I’m dealing with pushing two beds back together over and over and to sleep next to my fiancé, I had to lay in the crack. This last one is really nitpicky, but when you’re paying close to $400 for a night in a tent, you expect more. When I went to make coffee, there was no creamer. When they brought the ingredients to make s’mores in the stove, the jar was dirty and there was old chocolate inside the jar. I just expected more. The staff, however, was great. They helped me make a reservation for a massage at the last minute, which was great.
