"This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. No bread or baked goods for me but nice yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. The owner Nick...

"Great place. Great host!"

"Wonderful room and delicious breakfast! A unique stay 😊"

"We were very disappointed in this hotel. The cost was way too high for the condition of the property. The rooms were like an old motel, very run down. The lady at the front desk was nice, but other than that we did not enjoy our stay. The bathroom had rust stains on tub and toilet, toilet seat was loose, the hook on door to hang towels was ripped off. Just very worn and needs updating."

"Exceeded our expectations. Our room was facing the Marina and the sound. It was bright and so welcoming and comfortable. The staff was gracious and helpful. A delicious breakfast was included as well as wine and cheese in the afternoon. We took advantage of the complimentary pontoon ride down the Niantic river which was wonderful. The location was great for wandering to Mystic and even into Rhode Island which we did . We would like to return some day!"

"This was a wonderful first experience with a B & B. The hosts were amazing. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. The house fun and quirky. These guys know how to decorate for a holiday.... Halloween in our case."

"Breakfast was delicious and homemade! Hot tub was large, clean, and the area was very quiet! Rooms and Inn are on the older side, but have a lot of charm. My husband and I got a room with a porch and some rockers. Which was lovely! If you like a place that is warm, a touch outdated, and charming. This is the place for you! We would definitely go back :)"

"Great authentic new england house. Warm Cosy Clean Rockport great Note:everywhere shuts early apart from fish tavern(good bar and food). 5min walk to town 10-15 min walk to T station"

"Our stay at the Waldo Emerson was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, Amelia welcomed us with warm hospitality, and every detail of this charming property made us feel right at home. The accommodations were comfortable and full of character, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Each morning, we looked forward to a delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared breakfast that was the perfect start to our day. What truly made our experience special were the...

"Great people, very charming."

"Everything about my stay here was a dream! The view is unbelievable and both the rooms and common spaces were incredibly clean, cosy, and stocked with all the amenities one would need. Blessing and Kaelan were so helpful and kind and down to earth, and the solar panel set up is a sight to be seen! Also, they cook an amazing 3 course (but not overwhelming) breakfast for the guests every morning. You can tell how much they care about both the property and the people coming to stay. Despite...

"The stay was nice. The room was okay. It looked like the carpet was the original and dirty. It should be replaced or have the same wood as the half of the room that was wood. The curtains should be replaced. The backing was peeling but the front was ok. The breakfast only had quiche every day, with no variety on the eggs. The breakfast area was in the basement. The fire alarm sounded at 7:30am. The fire truck rolled out. Whatever they were cooking for breakfast got burnt and...
