We particularly liked their lovely black cat who met us in the morning and deigned to allow us a pat. Great accom and location away from the CBD. Opposite woolworths supermarket and situated in the main street area meant easy access to everything. The staff were a mix between helpful and or not helpful at all. "We had a wonderful experience at this motel. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were great—super friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we checked in. On top of that, the location is fantastic and made it incredibly easy to get around. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel is outdated and poorly maintained. Although it’s marketed as a full-service hotel, housekeeping isn’t actually provided - despite a sign in the room directing guests to call reception for it. When we called, our request was ignored. We also found bugs in our bed and reported it, but nothing was done. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this hotel; it falls well below acceptable standards in Australia."

"When booking through Expedia you are given an option , pay now or pay at hotel ! I selected the pay at hotel option. However before I checked in I was charged . I explained that this should not happen as I wanted to use another form of payment . If given an option of pay at hotel you should be charged at Che k in not 4 hours before you check in . "The room was very clean and comfortable and huge! For a room with one king size bed, it was one of the largest motel rooms I've come across. Great to have so much space."

"Room was nice and roomy, we had 2 adults and 2 children. 1 king bed and a fold out sofa. Although the room was nice and big enough for all 4 of us the pull-out sofa was not comfortable at all and we had to place the mattress on the floor. Would stay there again but in a room with 2 actual beds. The location was great, close to town."

Towels feel old and worn Shower tap leaked all night so had trouble sleeping with constant drip Hotel is split into two buildings with a road separating , annoying as felt isolated Breakfast price was good but eggs horrible / more of a continental than full Buffet in my opinion"

"We appreciated the renovated bathroom with space (big drawers) to store toilet bags etc and a reasonably sized room. We were able to conveniently park directly outside our room which was handy for unpacking and packing. Like all Motels in the town, the Azalea Motel is very close to the highway, and those trucks roll through the town 24 hrs a day!
