Dear Ms. Anonymous, We are extremely taken aback with your input because you didn’t say a single word when you checked out at 7:40am on Saturday 10/15 and you also checked out your other room. We have a courtesy call log when we called to see if all OK in your room, so we could change it if anything wrong, you or your friend both didn’t say anything wrong, rather said “OK” and “Looks fine” on Friday 10/14/22 at 2:10pm. We even gave you our pen with our name and phone number at the time of check out, you said “Thanks” but didn’t mention anything was unsatisfactory during your say, rather said “Good”, as we asked “how was your stay and if there was any problem in the room”? Two straightforward questions. We shown you ice maker and scooper at 5am, that you couldn’t find. We are shocked but we still apologize for your dissatisfaction.Sheets and towels cant be stained, because we have boxes and boxes of new sheets and towels and we discard any stained laundry on daily basis and have bags and bags of stained laundry, if you ever return, so we can show you.If you see the overall reviews on Hotel.com, you will see on the left hand side of the same page we are at 7.2 on property condition and overall 7.8 rating, why no other guest finds what you are saying is wrong?? Right underneath your review, on the same page, the reviews are “8/10 Very Good on 10/14/22” and “8/10 Very good on 10/6/22” and “10/10 Exceptional on 9/29/22” and “10/10 Exceptional on 7/21/22”. That is why we are stunned and blew our minds with your comments.Since you came from Expedia, so we have to do more paperwork to satisfy their rules and requlations, which certainly take little more time than someone who books directly with the hotel. We apologize that you feel it was a sluggish process.We have a ceiling fan on in lobby plus PTAC unit in the wall on the floor running non stop with A/C or heat or fan, whatever needed, then how can it be stuffy. Lobby inside the double glass door after vestibule, so cold or hot air doesn’t escape. Every hotel is like that unless you never been to any name brand hotel. We apologize for that.Yes, pool is closed for maintenance. The special Virginia Greahm drain cover needs to be replaced in spa, nothing else is wrong, it is just a safety issue for kids. Very hard to get those things and have to be special ordered. We are sorry for that, but not in our control.Similarly bathtubs/sinks can not be stained, they get scrubbed with commercial cleaner everyday, like we said before, why nobody else sees the things that you mentioned. Looks like you want to use everything in the book to write to prove your point, but you forgot to mention that you paid half the price of a room here where the other 2 hotels in town charge for the same comfortable stay (even if you don’t agree), double the price because of big chain.
