Better than average Comfort Inn. Room had a fridge and microwave and a couch, so I give this one high marks. Parking was adequate and they had better breakfast food at this location. I stay in this area because this is where the hotels are all grouped together, and I work in this area.

Good, but not great.

First let me say that the Amanda the front desk clerk was excellent, we had an issue with the bathroom and she switched rooms for us. Now, for the not so good, the carpet felt like it could use a cleaning. Felt sticky and gummy, secondly not enough towels. I had to take some from a cleaning cart.

Average place decent price.

Made a reservation for 5. Asked for room with 2 beds and a pull out couch as pictured. The pull out couch was worthless. The matress is so small and full of springs you can feel them poke your back. We all had to make it work in the 2 beds. Also room only had 3 towels when asked for extra ones they said they dint have any they were in the process of washing some. Room was not re stocked or cleaned while we were there even though we asked. I must say the 2 beds and pillows along with Confortors were very clean and relaxing had a great night sleep.

The four nights stay with family was not so good. No meat for breakfast. Meat was on the breakfast on out fifth day for check out. On our third the toilet was backing up. I called and ask the front desk toaskfor a plunger at 10:00pm. The man said he will bring the plunger. I waited up until 3:00am But he never did call or nothing. The next morning I got up and call again then the lady said we have to come and get the plunger so I did.This is Poor Service. This is Nasty.The room, bathroom room, towels was very clean. But I will never bring my family back there again.

There was no one at the desk when we checked in. There was, however, a person with no identification on his clothing who said he could check us in but he would have to call someone (a manager). This was uncomfortable. The person called the manager who wanted my card information over the phone (again uncomfortable). After I told the manager it was not a typical way to check in, he asked do you want the reservation or not. We were far from home with no other options, so I gave him my card number. My credit card is protected from fraud so I was not concerned. We checked in. Accommodations were comfortable and very clean. We checked out around 9 AM the next morning, expecting to grab breakfast before we headed out. We were told breakfast was from 7 AM to 10 AM. A different person with no identification on his clothing was sitting in the lobby area, watching TV. When I asked about breakfast, he said the breakfast lady wasn't there yet. No apology or compassion.

When I arrived i was met by a very nice young man at the desk who checked me in, in a matter of minutes. Upon entering my room I learned that the air conditioning system was not working and a box fan was in the room. (I have asthma and need plenty of air ventilation.) I called down to the front desk to see what could be done. I was informed that there was no other rooms available and all he could do was give me another fan. I later discovered that there was no towels or toilet paper in the bathroom. When my boyfriend went downstairs he was told he would have to come back because the towels were just being washed, this was at 7:30pm. When I went down for breakfast this morning I asked to speak with the manager (because the gentleman at the desk told me that he would be able then) i was informed that he would not be in until late on in the day. I left my name and phone number and a list of complaints with the lady at the desk and I'm still awaiting a call from management!
Fans in the room! Because air-conditioning system is broken.

Don't give negative reviews, but need to be honest

I typically do not leave negative reviews because I recognize that one person's experience does not necessarily reflect the whole. However, I felt an obligation to others that might book at this hotel to provide this in case they read reviews. When we tried to connect with the hotel on our way, we could not call because the phones didn't work. When we arrived, the staff member was great and checked us in, but we couldn't get into the room because the keypad didn't work, so the staff member had to use a tool to override it. The room only had two lights that worked (the bathroom and one living room). The TV didn't work. The bathroom fan didn't work. The sofa bed that one of our children slept on was old and dirty. The carpet pretty dirty. The room smelled pretty fowl. But we were tired and went to bed. The breakfast was great, waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravy, juices. Staff was kind but there was only ever one attending. Next night after getting back from the day we asked if we could change rooms. Went to the room, the key worked, but the room and sofa were dirtier than our original and the small fridge had broken through the cabinet floor and was sitting at an angle. We told them we would just stay in our old room. When we left I somehow forgot my suitcase. We tried calling all week but because the phones are dead we couldn't call. They did keep it and I was able to get it (thankfully) though they said they were just about to throw it out because no one claimed it. Rough hotel.

The stay was okay, considering the area. I wouldnt stay here again unless I had to. Staff in the morning/ afternoon time was better trained to me. Chose not to eat breakfast based on personal observations, but thats just me.

Overall it was a good stay. However the carpet was wet where the AC unit is. Also, people were hanging out outside my window that’s was not staying in the hotel. That was t safe at all. The ice machine on the first floor hasn’t worked since I stayed there for Mardi Gras and that was in March. I like the hotel because it has a fridge and microwave which is very convenient. But I don’t think I’ll stay there again when I come down next month.

I did not go an try the breakfast. I was in late and up later to start the day. However I was shocked they do not clean the rooms To shocked to learn that they only clean up when you leave or if you ask while there.

1st room tv didn’t work. Moved us to 2nd room. Tv had lines running through it, bathroom door couldn’t close, lights didn’t work, blood on bed sheets, couch was damp the entire time we were there. Went for breakfast at 8am all pans were empty and there were only 2 pans for the entire hotel. Said they have to find the cook. Couldn’t have breakfast any of the 3 days we were there. Kept trying to take out an $11 charge but no one knew what it was for.

My husband and I reserved a king room. When we walked into the hotel it looked and smelled clean. *When we walked into the room, we thought we were in the BATES MOTEL. *The chair and couch were filthy. *The carpeting although dark has deep stains. *The shelves that held the refrigerator and microwave were warped and corroded. *The curtains were filthy, dirty and black *There was NO ventilation in the bathroom * The microwave was completely rusted out The only good thing about our hotel room was the air conditioning, hot water, and the bed slept well.
